Claire Collict

Hello I’m Claire and I have been asked to be Treasurer which is an honour and a privilege.

I heard about Lucy many years ago through another Heart Mum who lives locally to me, and I first saw Lucy on Meridian Tonight after she had received her heart transplant. She melted my heart. Her zest for life and her wonderful smile will live with me forever.

Through Love from Lucy I hope we can continue to support people like her and keep her memory alive.

Feel free to contact me with any questions at: claire@lovefromlucy.org.uk

Ben Pearson – Lucy’s Little Brother

I’m Ben, Trustee and editor of the Love From Lucy website.

I’m incredibly proud to be part of Love From Lucy, a charity that means the world to me. Lucy wasn’t just my big sister – she was my hero. Even in the hardest times, she was always thinking of others. She had a dream to create something that would spread kindness, support people facing challenges, and bring light where it was needed most.

Being involved in this charity allows me to help keep that dream alive. Every project we take on, every person we support, is a reflection of who Lucy was – thoughtful, brave, and full of love. I feel honoured to continue her legacy, and to make sure her spirit lives on through the work we do.

Alice Pearson

Hi I’m Alice – Lucy is my older sister. I looked up to her because she was such a brave and inspirational young person going through all that she did in her life. She was more than just my sister, she was also one of my best friends. Not a day goes by when I’m not thinking about or missing her.

I’m doing this for Lucy because I know that she wanted us to keep her memory alive and carry on her legacy. She meant a lot to many people so I want it to carry on being like that.

Oli Seymour

Hi I’m Oli! I have known Lucy’s family all my life; I met Alice in Ringwood School and we were in the same tutor group throughout our time at school. I met Lucy properly when I went to Brockenhurst College and we connected instantly; she was so loving and supportive and full of life, just like her amazing mum and little sister. We had the same music taste and understood each other’s mental health perfectly.

This opportunity to be able to work with Love From Lucy and carry on her legacy, name and memory is amazing. I made a promise to the Pearson family that I would never let the world forget Lucy, and this is a step in that promise. I cannot wait to help raise money and awareness for Love From Lucy.

Aaron Prole

I have known Lucy since we were both 13 when she moved to my school. She was one of my most trusted best friends and was always there for me when I needed her. We always had a laugh and quite often got up to all sorts of mischief at school. We stayed friends when we left school and went onto college. Lucy was my inspiration and I miss her dearly. I will do anything to keep her memory alive.

Amy Coles

Hiya, I’m Amy. I first met Lucy when I started Brockenhurst College and she quickly became one of my good friends. No matter what she had going on in her personal life, she ALWAYS had a smile on her face whenever you saw her – she was one of the most selfless, caring, loving and compassionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and together we made memories that will last a lifetime.

Whenever I see a yellow butterfly I always smile and say ‘Hi Lu’ as I know she’s watching and smiling from above.

I’m honoured to be part of ‘Love From Lucy’ as it means I get to keep her memory and happiness alive throughout all that we will be doing. I’ll never forget you Lucy, one of the kindest and strongest people I’ve ever met!
