Bev — Lucy’s Mum
Hello everyone,
For the past five years, I’ve been very happy working quietly in the background – looking after the admin, lending a hand at events, and watching this wonderful charity grow. I’ve always felt that this work is about Lucy, and the children and young people she wanted so much to support – not about me. So when I was asked to step forward as Chair of Trustees, I felt both deeply honoured and a little reluctant to leave that comfortable place behind the scenes.
But I also know how much Lucy would believe in carrying this work forward, and so I am stepping up.
First, I want to say a huge and heartfelt thank you to our outgoing trustees. You have given so much of your time, your energy, and your heart. You have guided us, built us up, and brought us to where we stand today – stronger, and ready to reach further. We would not be here without you, and I am so grateful.
As I take on this role, my promise is simple: we will keep Lucy’s vision at the very centre of everything we do. My hope is that together, we will grow, expand our reach, and be there for every child and young person who needs us – just as Lucy would have wanted.
Thank you for welcoming me, and for being part of Lucy’s legacy. Here’s to what we will build together.

Oli Seymour
My name is Oli and if you’ve attended one of our events then the chances are we’ve met. I’ve been a volunteer for Love From Lucy ever since Lucy founded it, and I couldn’t be prouder to play my part.
I made a promise to always honour Lucy’s legacy, name and memory when I became a part of Love From Lucy, and I truly believe that, that work never stops.
I was asked to become a Trustee and there was only one obvious answer, to be in a position now to take things to the next level to keep showing the love, light and connection that Lucy bought to us all, to the rest of the world.
The work we’ve done so far is incredible and shows just how important our mission- Lucy’s mission is.
I look forward to next steps, and being able to help as many people as possible, all in Lucy’s name.

Hi I’m Taz and am honoured to be asked to be on the Board of Love from Lucy. I had the privilege of watching Lucy grow up, and become the amazing person she was. Starting the charity to help other young people with the same condition, is so Lucy. I’m looking forward to aiding the other trustees in honouring Lucy’s memory and mission for the future.
Claire Collict
Hello I’m Claire and I have been asked to be Treasurer which is an honour and a privilege.
I heard about Lucy many years ago through another Heart Mum who lives locally to me, and I first saw Lucy on Meridian Tonight after she had received her heart transplant. She melted my heart. Her zest for life and her wonderful smile will live with me forever.
Through Love from Lucy I hope we can continue to support people like her and keep her memory alive.

Aaron Prole
I have known Lucy since we were both 13 when she moved to my school. She was one of my most trusted best friends and was always there for me when I needed her. We always had a laugh and quite often got up to all sorts of mischief at school. We stayed friends when we left school and went onto college. Lucy was my inspiration and I miss her dearly. I will do anything to keep her memory alive.
