Supporting young PTLD sufferers
How You Can Get Involved
Ways you can help
If a financial contribution is not feasible at the moment, there are still ways to support this cause. You can help us spread awareness by sharing our campaign on social media, forwarding this website to your friends and family, or organising fundraising events within your community.
Businesses can help
Sponsoring young adults with PTLD is an opportunity for your business to transform lives, contribute to a greater cause, and inspire others in the process. By providing support, resources, and hope, you can empower these resilient individuals to overcome their challenges and fulfill their dreams.
We invite your business to take part in this transformative journey. Together, let’s make a lasting impact and bring smiles to the faces of young adults fighting PTLD.
Charity Fund
We are seeking support and donations to empower young cancer patients as they bravely battle this relentless disease.
Every year, many children and adolescents face the harsh reality of PTLD. These resilient fighters demonstrate unimaginable strength, enduring rigorous treatments and challenging circumstances that no child should ever experience. Together, we can make a difference in their lives and provide them with the support they need.
What We Do
We raise money: Many families struggle with the overwhelming financial burden that accompanies PTLD treatment. Your donation can provide financial relief, covering medical expenses, transportation costs, and essential living expenses for these families.
Emotional Support: Battling PTLD takes a toll on a child’s emotional well-being. Your donation can support, therapy sessions, and support groups that offer much-needed emotional support to young patients and their families to give them a brighter future.
Raise awareness: We aim to educate people on how young PTLD sufferers need support through a difficult time in their life, with your help we can do this.
Our Story
Why did Lucy need a transplant?
Lucy was born with very complex heart defects.
She was diagnosed with an aggressive form of PTLD. Unfortunately this was a battle too big for her and she sadly passed away on the 28th March 2021, aged just 21.
Lucy Pearson is the driving force behind this charity. She never let her health and disability get in the way, she always had a smile on her face.
